ORACLE DBA 10G - TEAM LEADER REQUIRED

Job Title: Oracle DBA with Team Lead experience 
Position job reports to: Systems Manager  
Department: IT

Main Responsibilities:

 
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic senior database administrator to implement, plan, oversee and manage all facets of the data warehouse. Our client utilises Real Application Clusters in its environments to support the continued growth of the company and along with performance tuning and enterprise backup contingency, will form a large part of the DBAs responsibilities along with supporting the development department in areas of DBA development and recommendation.  
 
Key skills / experience:

• 5+ Years Oracle DBA experience

     Must be Fluent in Chinese Language specifically Mandarin / Cantonese

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in database administration is preferred.
• Oracle 10g database administration via Enterprise manager or SQL/Plus.
• Real Application Cluster(RAC) implementation and support experience
• Practical knowledge in Oracle table and index partitioning to streamline data warehouse applications.
• Working experience in extraction, transformation,and loading (ETL) data warehouse methodology

supporting data mart operations for enterprise business reporting.

• Automatic Storage Management(ASM) experience
• Strong PL/SQL development experience
• Export and Import and other backup methods such as RMAN
• Strong performance tuning experience
• Good Linux knowledge
• Linux scripting knowledge
• Good My-SQL experience
• Languages: C#.NET, ASP, XML
• Operating systems: Exposure to a variety of systems is preferable but not essential, (Windows Server, Unix etc.)
• Working knowledge in the capacity of application DBA administering Oracle E-Business suite (EBS) 11.5.9 or above is a plus
• Excellent communicator both verbally and written 
  
• Practical and open minded, able to use own and commercial judgement to balance process against delivery
• Analysis, documentation and implementation of critical business solutions, utilizing many technologies, over tight business-defined time-scales
• Top quality analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience of vendor relationships and the management of such
